Mechanical Engineer m-f
VHM is a company with 30 years' experience and an international reputation, specialising in the preparation of studies and projects, management, supervision and safety coordination of construction works and environmental management. As part of its expansion policy, it is currently recruiting to join its Supervision department in Coimbra:
Role:
- Site preparation - analysing and checking the project, drawing up and adapting the site quality plan, analysing and validating the work plan, financial timetable and human resources and equipment mobilisation map.
- Coordination of the work - checking the drawings, managing changes to the work, managing requests for clarifications, approving materials and clarifications, approving subcontractors, financial control of the work, control of the planning of the work, requests for extensions to deadlines, quality control and execution of the works, making entries in the work book, drawing up reports
- Closure of the work - carrying out the inspection and provisional acceptance of the work, settlement of the contract, drawing up the closure report and management of guarantees and final acceptance of the work.
Requirements for the job:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in electrical, mechanical or electromechanical engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience in supervising or managing work on mechanical installation contracts and/or subcontracts
- Planning and organisational skills
- Orientation towards meeting objectives and deadlines
- Dynamism and good communication skills
- A love of teamwork
