Site Safety Coordinator (m/f)
VHM is a company with 30 years' experience and an international reputation, specialising in the preparation of studies and projects, management, supervision and safety coordination of construction works and environmental management. As part of its expansion policy, it is currently recruiting to join its Inspection Department in Coimbra:
Role:
- Checking compliance with the health and safety plan on site
- Validate specific safety procedures for work involving special risks
- Analysing and advising on the documentation of subcontractors and self-employed workers
- Hold meetings and promote site visits to check implementation and compliance with the measures defined in the SHP
- Promote the investigation of accidents and incidents
- Complying with the environmental management plan and applicable environmental legislation
We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
- Training as a senior occupational safety and hygiene technician (valid professional qualification - CCP level VI)
- Professional experience (minimum 2 years) in coordinating safety on construction sites
- Good communication skills, high proactivity and a sense of responsibility
- Dynamism, good planning and problem-solving skills
- A love of teamwork and meeting objectives
- Immediate availability (preferred)
